Suryakumar Yadav to Donate Asia Cup Match Fee to Armed Forces, Pahalgam Victims

Following India’s thrilling five-wicket victory over Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 final, captain Suryakumar Yadav announced he will donate his entire match fee from the tournament to the country’s armed forces and the families of the Pahalgam terror attack victims.

The 35-year-old cricketer shared his decision on social media, writing, “I have decided to donate my match fees from this tournament to support our Armed Forces and the families of the victims who suffered from the Pahalgam terror attack. You always remain in my thoughts. Jai Hind.”

India’s triumph in the high-voltage final under SKY’s leadership not only added a record-extending ninth Asia Cup title to the nation’s cricketing accolades but also highlighted the captain’s gesture of solidarity and patriotism.
