OPGC Wins National ET PSU Silver Award for Digital Transformation Excellence

Bhubaneswar, June 21 : Odisha Power Generation Corporation Ltd. (OPGC) has been honored with the National ET PSU Silver Award in the category of Leadership in Digital Transformation at the ET PSU Leadership & Excellence Awards 2025 held in New Delhi on June 19.

The award recognizes OPGC’s pioneering efforts in adopting cutting-edge digital technologies that have revolutionized its plant operations and set new industry benchmarks. Selected from among more than 50 leading PSUs across India, OPGC emerged as a trailblazer in the power generation sector through its innovative and data-driven initiatives.

A key factor in OPGC’s win was its successful deployment of advanced digital solutions, including the OSI PI Historian, real-time analytics platforms, and automated process optimization tools. These technologies have significantly enhanced operational efficiency, streamlined processes, and improved overall performance.

The jury praised OPGC’s digital journey for showcasing how real-time data and smart automation can lead to sustainable growth, resilience, and excellence in the energy sector.

The award was received on behalf of OPGC by Sudhakar Swain, GM (Operations), and Prabhupada Acharya, Manager (Engineering & Efficiency).
