Parmish Verma on Music, Life, and Dreams: ‘I Was Willing to Pay the Price’

Punjabi singer-rapper Parmish Verma, known for chart-topping hits like Gaal Ni Kadni, has built a career that blends talent, persistence, and an unwavering commitment to his dreams. Despite his success—12 million social media followers, luxury cars like a Lamborghini and a Mercedes G-Wagon—he still sees himself as the same middle-class boy who once saved up Rs 10 to enjoy a burger and a cold drink.

Verma, 34, will soon appear in the upcoming series “Kanneda”, but his focus remains the same—pursuing his ambitions with relentless determination.

“I have sacrificed my whole life for my dreams, and I will continue to do so—but the right way,” he said during a visit to PTI headquarters. “It’s not just hard work, it’s consistency that makes the difference. You have to show up every single day, look your goal in the eye, and say, ‘See, I’m shameless, and I am back again.’”

With a growing presence in music and acting, Verma continues to push boundaries, staying true to the hustle that defined his journey from an ambitious schoolboy to a celebrated artist.
