Pramod Bhagat Wins Gold, Sukant Kadam Bags Two Silvers at China Para Badminton

India’s para badminton stars delivered stellar performances at the China Para Badminton International 2025, with Pramod Bhagat, Sukant Kadam, and Krishna Nagar bringing home medals.

After an 18-month break, ace shuttler Pramod Bhagat made a golden comeback by clinching the men’s singles SL3 gold medal. Despite losing the first set 15-2 against Indonesia’s Muh Al Imran, Pramod staged a remarkable recovery, winning the next two sets 21-19, 21-16 to secure the top prize.

Sukant Kadam added two silver medals to India’s tally, showcasing his consistency and skill in international competition, while Krishna Nagar also contributed to the country’s success in the tournament.

These achievements reaffirm India’s growing dominance in para badminton on the global stage.
