Kasauli Rhythm and Blues Festival marks decade, backs heart care cause
The 10th edition of the Kasauli Rhythm and Blues Festival concluded in the scenic hill town of Kasauli, celebrating a decade of music while reinforcing its commitment to a vital social cause—supporting children with critical heart conditions.
Organised by the Genesis Foundation in collaboration with 1842 Kasauli, the two-day festival also marked 25 years of the foundation’s work in providing life-saving cardiac treatment to underprivileged children.
Drawing over 450 attendees, the event brought together music enthusiasts, artists, and philanthropists in a vibrant showcase of live performances. Despite rain on the opening day, the spirit of the festival remained undeterred, with artists delivering energetic sets that kept audiences engaged throughout.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of the hills, the festival blended entertainment with purpose, raising awareness and funds for pediatric heart care. Over the years, KRBF has grown into a significant cultural and charitable platform, using music to drive meaningful impact.
Organisers highlighted that proceeds from the festival will continue to support surgeries and medical interventions for children suffering from congenital heart defects, reaffirming their mission to ensure that no child is denied treatment due to financial constraints.
As the festival completes a decade, it stands as a testament to the power of music in bringing communities together for a cause that saves young lives.
