Chitkara University, York University Launch 2+2 Computer Science Pathway for Indian Students

In a major push toward global academic collaboration, Chitkara University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with York University, Toronto, to introduce a 2+2 academic pathway in Computer Science. The initiative aims to enhance international learning opportunities and career readiness for Indian students aspiring to enter Canada’s growing digital economy.

As part of the pathway, students will spend the first two years of their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science program at Chitkara University, paying domestic tuition fees. They will then transfer to York University’s Lassonde School of Engineering to complete the final two years of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Computer Science.

The collaboration ensures that 100% of the academic credits earned in India will be fully transferable, enabling students to seamlessly continue their education in Toronto while gaining global exposure, industry experience, and enhanced career prospects.

The partnership underscores a shared commitment to delivering high-quality education and creating a competitive edge for Indian students in the international tech landscape.
