Aster expands Whitefield Hospital with ₹96 crore

Aster DM Healthcare on Monday announced an investment of ₹96 crore to expand its women and children’s facility at Aster Whitefield Hospital in Bengaluru.
According to the company, the expansion will increase the hospital’s bed capacity from 380 to 539 beds, significantly enhancing its ability to cater to growing demand for maternal and pediatric healthcare services.
Commenting on the development, Azad Moopen, Founder and Chairman of Aster DM Healthcare, said that rising demand for quality care in women’s and children’s health necessitates scaling both infrastructure and medical capabilities.
The move is aimed at strengthening the hospital’s offerings in specialized care, including advanced neonatal and pediatric services, while improving patient access and experience.
With this investment, Aster DM Healthcare continues to expand its healthcare footprint in India, focusing on delivering comprehensive and high-quality medical services.
