PM Modi congratulates Padma Awardees 2026

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday congratulated all the Padma Awardees for their outstanding contributions to the nation, saying their excellence and dedication enriched the fabric of Indian society.

In a message posted on X after the announcement of the Padma Awards 2026, the Prime Minister said the honour reflected the spirit of commitment and service that continued to inspire generations.

“Congratulations to all the Padma Awardees for their outstanding contributions to our nation. Their excellence, dedication and service across diverse fields enrich the fabric of our society,” he said.

He added that the recognition highlighted the values of hard work, commitment and excellence upheld by individuals from different walks of life.

The Padma Awards, among the country’s highest civilian honours, are conferred annually in the fields of art, literature, science, public affairs, sports and social service.
