In a shocking incident, a 20-year-old tribal woman was allegedly assaulted and forced to ingest human faeces in Odisha’s Bolangir district, police confirmed on Wednesday.

The incident occurred on November 16 in Jurabandha village under Bangamunda police station limits. According to the FIR, the accused, a non-tribal man, was operating a tractor on the woman’s agricultural land, causing damage to her crops. When the woman objected, he allegedly attacked her and subjected her to the inhumane act.
