TCS Unveils AI Upgrade for TCS BaNCS Platform

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India’s largest IT services firm, on Friday announced an artificial intelligence (AI) upgrade to its widely used banking platform, TCS BaNCS.

The new offering, named “TCS BaNCS AI Compass,” integrates machine learning, deep learning, Generative AI, and pre-built AI agents to help banks and securities services clients adopt responsible AI tools and practices. According to the company, the platform is designed to enhance efficiency, decision-making, and customer experience for financial institutions.

This announcement aligns with TCS’s strategy to become the world’s largest AI-led technology services provider. The company recently reported USD 1.5 billion in annualized AI revenue, highlighting the growing adoption of AI solutions across its client base.

“TCS BaNCS AI Compass reflects our commitment to embedding advanced AI capabilities responsibly, helping our banking and financial services clients innovate while maintaining trust and compliance,” the company said in an official statement.

With this AI upgrade, TCS aims to further solidify its position in the financial technology space, offering next-generation AI capabilities for global banking and securities operations.
