Symbiosis Skills and Professional University Launches B.Tech in Defence Technology

Symbiosis Skills and Professional University (SSPU), Pune, has announced the launch of a new four-year B.Tech program in Defence Technology, beginning from the academic year 2025–26. The course is designed to equip students with cutting-edge knowledge and practical expertise tailored to the evolving needs of the defence sector.

According to the university, the curriculum has been meticulously developed by top defence sector experts to align with current technological advancements and national security requirements. It aims to foster innovation, technical proficiency, and industry readiness among engineering aspirants interested in serving or contributing to the defence ecosystem.

The B.Tech in Defence Technology will cover a broad range of subjects including weapon systems, military robotics, aerospace technology, cybersecurity, and defence electronics, integrating theoretical concepts with hands-on training and research-based learning.
