Silver Futures Jump ₹732 on MCX

Silver Futures Surge ₹732 to ₹87,943/kg on Strong Demand
Silver futures witnessed a sharp uptick on Monday as prices rose ₹732 to ₹87,943 per kilogram on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). The gains came as traders ramped up their positions amid renewed interest in the precious metal.
The May delivery contracts climbed 0.84% in early trade, supported by a business turnover of 22,944 lots.
According to market analysts, the surge in silver prices is attributed to fresh positions built up by participants, driven by firm global trends and increased industrial demand. With ongoing economic uncertainties and a shift towards safe-haven assets, silver continues to attract strong investor interest.
The movement in silver is also being closely tracked in line with broader commodity market cues and global precious metal trends.
