‘Vvan’ to release August 28, say makers

The makers of Vvan – Force of the Forrest, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, have announced that the film will now hit theatres on August 28.

The folk thriller was earlier scheduled for a May 15 release but has been postponed. Backed by Balaji Telefilms Ltd, led by Ektaa R Kapoor, in collaboration with The Viral Fever, the film has generated buzz for its unique genre blend.

Directed by Arunabh Kumar and Deepak Mishra—known for their work on the popular series Panchayat—Vvan is expected to explore a gripping narrative rooted in folklore and suspense.

Malhotra shared the updated release date on his Instagram story, posting a new poster of the film with “August 28” prominently displayed.
