Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, known for his flamboyant batting and infectious smile, has stepped into a new role — that of an author. The veteran opener has released his memoir titled “The One: Cricket, My Life and More”, offering readers an intimate and unfiltered account of his life both on and off the field.
Published by HarperCollins India, the book delves into Dhawan’s personal journey — covering his cricketing career, struggles, relationships, controversies, and the moments that shaped him into the man he is today.
“Cricket gave me purpose, but it was the journey — the highs, the falls, and the quiet moments — that truly shaped me,” Dhawan said. “This is me sharing that journey from the heart — raw, honest and unfiltered.”
