Shantanu & Nikhil Unveil ‘Velora’, a Tribute to Timeless Femininity at Lakme Fashion Week

Celebrated designer duo Shantanu & Nikhil brought a touch of vintage glamour to the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) with their latest collection, “Velora”, which pays homage to women and celebrates modern elegance with timeless craftsmanship.

The grand showcase took place on Saturday at The Grand Hotel, New Delhi, drawing an impressive crowd of celebrities and fashion enthusiasts. Among those spotted at the event were Alaya F, Diana Penty, and Shibani Dandekar, who posed for pictures with the designers, adding star power to the evening.

Inspired by the cinematic allure of the 1930s, Velora captured the essence of red-carpet divas of that golden era. Known primarily for their innovative menswear, Shantanu & Nikhil made a striking shift towards womenswear with this collection, blending vintage silhouettes, opulent fabrics, and intricate detailing to celebrate the evolving identity of modern women.

Speaking about the collection, the designers said Velora is “a celebration of strength, grace, and individuality — a salute to the contemporary woman who is timeless in spirit.”
