Saraswati Puja, dedicated to the goddess of knowledge, was celebrated with great enthusiasm across Odisha on Sunday, coinciding with the festival of Basant Panchami. The occasion saw vibrant celebrations at educational institutions, offices, and homes, where devotees sought the blessings of Goddess Saraswati for wisdom, success, and prosperity.

Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi extended their greetings to the people of the state on this auspicious day. In his message, the Governor prayed that Goddess Saraswati would fill everyone’s lives with knowledge, happiness, peace, and prosperity.

The festival, marked by rituals, prayers, and cultural programs, was celebrated in schools, colleges, and temples, with students and devotees offering prayers to seek blessings for academic success. Educational institutions across the state were decorated with flowers and idols of Goddess Saraswati.
