Pradhan Demands Apology from Congress Leaders

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Demands Apology from Sonia, Rahul for Remarks Against President Murmu
Bhubaneswar: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has strongly criticized Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi for their alleged derogatory remarks against President Droupadi Murmu, demanding an apology from them and the party.
Pradhan stated that the comments made by the senior Congress leaders reflect a “feudal and arrogant mentality” and are “highly condemnable.” He accused the Congress party of being unable to accept a President from the Scheduled Tribe community holding the nation’s highest constitutional position.
“This statement reflects the feudal mindset of the Congress, their arrogance, and their resentment towards the President, who hails from a Scheduled Tribe background,” Pradhan said.
He further alleged that the Congress party has historically been against the interests of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC), claiming that its leaders struggle to accept individuals from marginalized communities in top positions.
Pradhan asserted that the remarks not only insult the tribal community but also demean the highest constitutional office of the country. “It has insulted a woman and the state of Odisha,” he added, emphasizing that Congress must issue an apology for its statements.
The controversy has sparked sharp reactions from various quarters, with BJP leaders rallying behind President Murmu and condemning the alleged remarks by the Congress leadership.
