Odisha to Release 4th Phase of Subhadra Yojana Funds in January: Deputy CM

Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced on Saturday that over 20 lakh women are set to receive the first installment of the Subhadra Yojana’s fourth phase in January 2025.

The state government had earlier postponed the disbursement, initially scheduled for December 25, citing administrative adjustments. The delay ensures smooth execution of the scheme and timely benefits for all eligible recipients.

The Subhadra Yojana, aimed at empowering women financially, promises each beneficiary Rs 50,000 over five years. The amount is disbursed in two installments of Rs 10,000 annually, ensuring a steady and reliable source of financial support.

Deputy CM Parida emphasized the government’s commitment to improving women’s socio-economic status through initiatives like Subhadra Yojana. “This scheme is a cornerstone of our welfare programs, and we are ensuring its benefits reach all deserving women in a timely manner,” she stated.

Beneficiaries of the scheme have expressed optimism about the upcoming release, highlighting its positive impact on their financial independence and well-being.

The Subhadra Yojana continues to serve as a vital instrument for women’s empowerment in Odisha, reflecting the state government’s dedication to inclusive development.
