BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi approved a proposal on Friday to set up two new Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) hospitals in the state. The new facilities will be established in Keonjhar and Sonepur, aimed at enhancing healthcare services for workers and their families.

The addition of these hospitals will expand the reach of the ESI scheme, which currently includes four ESI hospitals and 41 dispensaries across Odisha. The new hospitals are expected to significantly benefit the local workforce by providing improved medical care and services under the ESI scheme.
