Odisha Organizes Roadshow in Hyderabad to Boost Tourism

In a bid to promote its diverse tourism offerings, the Odisha government organized a roadshow in Hyderabad on Tuesday. The event, held in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), aimed to highlight the state’s rich cultural heritage, picturesque landscapes, and vibrant tourist attractions.
The roadshow showcased a wide array of Odisha’s tourism assets, including its historic monuments, scenic waterfalls, diverse wildlife, delicious local cuisine, serene hills, and Buddhist circuits. The state’s tourism department aims to captivate potential visitors and investors by presenting these unique attractions to a broader audience.
The event saw participation from more than 40 travel operators and 20 tourism investors from Hyderabad, who took part in a series of Business-to-Business (B2B) interactions. These discussions aimed to forge new partnerships, boost tourism-related investments, and explore potential collaborations between Odisha and the travel industry in Hyderabad.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, who is also in charge of the Tourism Department, reiterated the state government’s commitment to fostering a pro-investment environment. “We are dedicated to providing robust support for businesses, ensuring a smooth and thriving tourism sector in Odisha,” she said.
The roadshow serves as a key step in promoting Odisha as a top tourist destination and attracting both national and international visitors. With its rich cultural heritage and natural beauty, the state is eager to position itself as a premier destination for travel, adventure, and relaxation.
