Odisha Govt Revokes Suspension of IPS Officer D S Kutey
The Odisha government has revoked the suspension of senior IPS officer D S Kutey, appointing him as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Home Department, as per an official notification on Monday.
Additionally, the state government has made further administrative changes, transferring Ravi Kant, the Resident Commissioner of Odisha Bhawan in New Delhi, to the position of Officer on Special Duty in the Home Department. Ravi Kant, a 1998-batch IAS officer, was notably the first appointee to the Resident Commissioner post at Odisha Bhawan.
The revocation of D S Kutey’s suspension marks a significant development, allowing the experienced officer to resume his duties in a critical role within the Home Department.
