The Odisha government has cancelled the special bus service for devotees traveling to the Maha Kumbh Mela in Ayodhya until February 4 due to unavoidable circumstances, an official notice stated on Thursday.

“Due to unavoidable circumstances, the special bus service to Ayodhya for Maha Kumbh Mela stands cancelled with immediate effect till February 4,” the notice mentioned.

Initially, the special bus service was planned to continue until February 26 to facilitate devotees traveling to the religious event. However, the sudden cancellation has left many pilgrims awaiting further announcements.
