Odisha FC kept their playoff hopes alive with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Jamshedpur FC in the Indian Super League (ISL) on Wednesday at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.

Star midfielder Hugo Boumous led the charge for Odisha FC, scoring a brace in the 37th and 53rd minutes, after Dori had given them an early lead in the 21st minute. Despite a late fightback from Jamshedpur FC, with Jordan Murray (84′) and Stephen Eze (90+1′) finding the net, Odisha held on to secure the crucial win.

With this victory, the Juggernauts climbed to sixth place in the standings with 33 points from 24 matches. However, their league campaign has concluded, meaning their playoff fate now depends on other results.

Odisha FC’s performance showcased their attacking prowess, but they will now have to wait and watch if their efforts are enough to secure a playoff spot.
