Odisha CM Grieves Death of Two in Kuwait Fire
BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed deep sorrow on Friday over the tragic deaths of two residents from the state in a devastating fire in Kuwait.
“Many people lost their lives in the terrible fire in Kuwait. The news of the death of two Odia sons, Muhammad Jahur and Santosh Kumar Gouda, is very sad. I offer my condolences to the bereaved family and pray to Lord Jagannath to give peace to the departed souls,” Majhi stated in a post on X.
Santosh Kumar Gouda hailed from Ranajhalli village in the Purusottampur block of Ganjam district, while Muhammad Jahur was a native of Karadapalli village in the Tigiria police station area of Cuttack district.
The Chief Minister’s heartfelt message highlighted the loss and expressed solidarity with the grieving families during this difficult time. The tragic incident has cast a pall of gloom over the respective communities in Odisha.
