Union Minister of State for Health Anupriya Patel highlighted the positive impact of the New Drugs and Clinical Trial Rules 2019 and the Medical Device Rules 2017 in promoting scientific and ethical research in India. Speaking at the 19th International Conference of Drug Regulatory Authorities (ICDRA) on Wednesday, Patel emphasized that these regulations align with global expectations and international practices.

During her address, Patel stated, “ICDRA is crucial in sharing knowledge, building partnerships, and working in harmonization to ensure safe and effective medicines for everyone. Our regulatory efforts can lead to better health outcomes for people all over the world.”
