Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday hailed the India AI Impact Summit as a testament to the power of India’s youth and the country’s rapid technological advancement.

As global leaders, innovators and technology experts gather for the summit, the Prime Minister described the event as a landmark moment reflecting India’s growing stature in the global technology landscape. He said the large international participation underscores the immense potential of India’s young talent and the country’s expanding role in shaping global innovation.

In a post on X, Modi expressed pride that people from across the world are arriving in India for the India AI Impact Summit. He noted that the occasion highlights the capability of the nation’s youth and stands as proof that India is progressing swiftly in science and technology while contributing significantly to global development.

Invoking an ancient Sanskrit Subhashitam, the Prime Minister wrote:

“दाने तपसि शौचं च विज्ञानं विनये नये।
विस्मयो न हि कर्तव्यो बहुरत्ना वसुन्धरा।।“

The verse conveys that qualities such as generosity, discipline, purity, knowledge, humility and wisdom are found across the world, and one should not be surprised, for the earth is rich with many gems.

The Prime Minister’s remarks come at a time when India is positioning itself as a major hub for artificial intelligence, digital innovation and emerging technologies, driven largely by its dynamic youth population and expanding startup ecosystem.
