Medha Patkar Appeals to Protect Rushikulya River in Odisha

Renowned environmental activist Medha Patkar urged the people of Odisha on Saturday to join hands in protecting the Rushikulya river. Patkar’s appeal comes amid government plans to construct a dam on the Pipalapnaka river, a tributary of Rushikulya, under Sorada block in Ganjam district.
