Maoist with Rs 2 Lakh Bounty Arrested in Odisha’s Malkangiri
A Maoist operative carrying a bounty of ₹2 lakh was apprehended in Odisha’s Malkangiri district on Friday, police officials confirmed.
The arrested Maoist, identified as Anti Madvi, alias Lakey (29), was an active member of the Uday Protection Team. She was reportedly involved in several criminal cases, making her a key target for law enforcement agencies.
According to the police, Madvi is a resident of Bijapur district in Chhattisgarh and has been evading arrest for years. Authorities believe her capture is a significant blow to Maoist operations in the region.
Further investigations are underway to extract critical information regarding her involvement in Maoist activities and to dismantle any active networks linked to her.
