The Karnataka government on Saturday rewarded 146 startups under its flagship ELEVATE programme, committing grants worth ₹38.85 crore to support innovation and entrepreneurship in the state.
According to the Department of Electronics, IT & BT, the beneficiaries include 103 startups selected under ELEVATE 2025, 33 startups under ELEVATE Unnati, which supports entrepreneurs from the SC/ST community, and 10 startups under ELEVATE Minorities 2025, aimed at empowering entrepreneurs from minority communities.
Under the ELEVATE programme, eligible startups receive a one-time grant-in-aid of up to ₹50 lakh. In addition to financial assistance, the startups are provided mentoring and incubation support at subsidised rates through government-supported incubation centres to aid product development and validation.
The state government said the initiative reflects Karnataka’s continued focus on nurturing a robust startup ecosystem by promoting inclusive growth, innovation and technology-driven enterprises across sectors.
