Indian Cricket Team Departs for US Ahead of T20 World Cup

The Indian cricket team, led by captain Rohit Sharma, embarked on their journey to the United States on Saturday in preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup, set to commence on June 2.

The initial contingent departing from Mumbai airport included key players such as pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, top-ranked T20I batter Suryakumar Yadav, and several others, along with head coach Rahul Dravid and batting coach Vikram Rathour.

Among the players joining the squad are Ravindra Jadeja, Shivam Dube, Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep Singh, Khaleel Ahmed, Kuldeep Yadav, and Axar Patel, among others.

This marks the first batch of Indian players heading to the US for the prestigious tournament, signaling the beginning of their preparations under the leadership of Rohit Sharma. The team’s departure reflects their focused approach and readiness to compete at the highest level in the T20 format, aiming to bring glory to the nation in the global cricketing arena.
