Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Wednesday watched the recently released Hindi film The Sabarmati Report, which is based on the 2002 Godhra train burning incident in the state. The screening took place at a multiplex in Ahmedabad and was attended by veteran Bollywood actor Jeetendra, actress Riddhi Dogra, and Gujarat Minister of State for Home, Harsh Sanghavi.

After the screening, CM Patel, along with other dignitaries, lauded the film, commending the filmmakers and the star cast for their stellar performances. The film has garnered attention for its depiction of the tragic incident and the subsequent events, sparking conversations around the socio-political climate of that period.
