Godrej Consumer Anticipates Double-Digit Volume Growth in Domestic Market for June Quarter

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) is forecasting robust performance in the domestic market for the June quarter, expecting double-digit volume growth despite challenging operating conditions in India.

In its latest quarterly update, GCPL reported “high-single-digit organic volume and mid-single digit value growth” in its domestic business. The reported growth, however, is projected to be double-digit in volume and high-single digit in value terms.

The company attributed its success to broad-based growth across both its Home Care and Personal Care segments, underscoring the resilience of its product portfolio amid a sluggish market environment.

“The growth was broad-based across both Home Care and Personal Care,” stated the Godrej Group’s FMCG arm in a regulatory filing. This strong performance highlights the effectiveness of GCPL’s strategies in navigating a tough economic landscape and continuing to meet consumer demand.

As GCPL continues to leverage its diverse product offerings and strong market presence, the company remains optimistic about sustaining its growth trajectory in the upcoming quarters.
