Goa Cabinet Approves Rs 2,500 Crore PPP Development Projects

The Goa cabinet on Monday approved seven development projects worth a total of Rs 2,500 crore, to be implemented on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) basis.

The projects, aimed at boosting infrastructure and economic growth in the coastal state, will involve collaboration between the government and private sector partners. Specific sectors and project details are expected to be announced in the coming days.

Officials said the move is part of Goa’s strategy to accelerate development, attract private investment, and enhance public services without putting excessive strain on the state’s finances.

The cabinet’s approval signals the state government’s focus on leveraging PPP models to modernize infrastructure, improve urban amenities, and strengthen tourism and industrial facilities across Goa.
