CM Majhi to Unveil Nuapada Projects

Odisha CM to Launch Projects Worth Over ₹1,100 Crore in Poll-Bound Nuapada
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to launch a series of development projects worth over ₹1,100 crore in Nuapada district on Monday, officials said.
According to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Majhi will unveil 957 new projects, including laying foundation stones and inaugurating completed works, during a public meeting in Nuapada.
“Honourable Chief Minister Shri @MohanMOdisha is going to Nuapada District to announce 957 new projects worth over ₹1,100 crore, lay foundation stones, and inaugurate them,” the CMO stated in a post on X.
The visit comes just a day after the Election Commission announced the Nuapada Assembly bypoll, scheduled for November 11, following the demise of sitting MLA Rajendra Dholakia in September.
Officials said the projects cover multiple sectors, including rural development, road connectivity, irrigation, education, and healthcare, aimed at boosting infrastructure and improving livelihoods in the western Odisha district.
The Chief Minister’s visit is seen as politically significant, coming at a time when major parties have begun mobilising support ahead of the bypoll.
