CM Majhi Inaugurates New DCP Office Building in Bhubaneswar

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday inaugurated the newly constructed office building of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in Bhubaneswar, marking a significant step towards strengthening urban policing infrastructure.

The state-of-the-art four-storey building, built at a cost of ₹7.80 crore, spans 2,272 square metres and is equipped with modern facilities to improve police operations and public service delivery.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, CM Majhi said, “The new DCP office building will enhance the efficiency of our police force and enable the delivery of high-quality policing services to the people of Bhubaneswar.”

Officials said the facility is designed to accommodate various police wings under one roof and will help streamline administrative work while offering better accessibility for citizens.

The Chief Minister reaffirmed his government’s commitment to strengthening law and order through upgraded infrastructure, technology, and citizen-friendly policing.
