This was highlighted by Sydney-based filmmaker Anupam Sharma, who shared his pride over the success of these major blockbusters in the Australian market.

According to Sharma, the popularity of Punjabi films is also increasing in the region, reflecting a broader interest in Indian cinema. “We recently had Singham Again, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, all the major blockbusters. But one thing is very exciting – it’s the rise of Punjabi films,” he noted.
