Shares of Avenue Supermarts Ltd, the company that owns and operates the popular retail chain D-Mart, surged more than 4 percent on Monday following the announcement of a significant increase in consolidated net profit for the June quarter. The company’s net profit rose by 17.45 percent, bolstering investor confidence and driving up stock prices.
On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the stock climbed by 4.29 percent, reaching Rs 5,166.10. Similarly, at the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the shares saw a rise of 4.45 percent, hitting Rs 5,164 apiece.
