Anushka Shetty Announces Break from Social Media, Promises to Return Soon

Actor Anushka Shetty, known for her performances in Arundhati, Baahubali, and Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, on Friday announced that she is taking a break from social media.

The actress, who was last seen in Krish Jagarlamudi’s Ghaati, shared a handwritten note on her Instagram account, explaining her decision.

“Trading blue light to candle light… Will be stepping away from social media for a bit, just to reconnect to the world and work beyond the scrolling, to where we all actually started. See you all soon with more stories and more love… always forever… Smile always. Love, Anushka Shetty,” she wrote.

Fans flooded the post with messages of love and support, praising her decision to prioritise balance and well-being.

Shetty, one of the most prominent female stars in South Indian cinema, has maintained a loyal following over the years, thanks to her versatile roles across Telugu and Tamil films. Her brief hiatus from digital platforms, she assured, is temporary, as she promised to return with “more stories and more love.”
