Ananyabrata Chakravorty’s Debut Film ‘Kaisi Ye Paheli’ to Premiere at New York Indian Film Festival

New Delhi, May 8, 2025: Ananyabrata Chakravorty’s debut feature film Kaisi Ye Paheli is all set to make its world premiere at the prestigious New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF). The film, which has been selected for the Competition Section, will have its first screening at Village East by Angelika on June 21, 2025.

The NYIFF, a prominent platform showcasing the best in Indian cinema for the global diaspora, will run from June 20-22. Kaisi Ye Paheli has already garnered attention for its unique storytelling and cinematic style. It has also been nominated in two categories: Best Screenplay and Best Debut Film.
