Amitabh Bachchan Praises Abhishek Bachchan’s Performance in Be Happy

Mumbai : Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has lauded his son Abhishek Bachchan for his exceptional performance in the upcoming film Be Happy. The recently released trailer of the film has resonated with audiences, offering a glimpse into an emotional and heartwarming story.

Directed by Remo D’Souza, Be Happy follows the journey of Shiv, played by Abhishek Bachchan, a devoted single father navigating life’s challenges with his daughter Dhara, portrayed by Inayat Verma.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Amitabh Bachchan expressed his admiration in Hindi, writing, “T 5308 – Abhishek ek pitaa kaa garv, kitni aasaani se ek kirdaar se doosre kirdaar mein badal jaate ho. Badhai ho, badhai sneh”, which translates to “Abhishek, a father’s pride, how easily you transform from one character to another. Congratulations, much affection.”

He also responded to a tweet about the film, praising Abhishek’s versatility and calling the story “lovely”.

Produced under the banner of Remo D’Souza Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the film features a stellar cast including Nora Fatehi, Johnny Lever, and Harleen Sethi. Be Happy is set for an exclusive release on Prime Video on March 14 and will be available in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, across 240+ countries and territories.
