Ambani, Adani Pledge Support to Armed Forces Amid Rising Indo-Pak Tensions

As tensions escalate along the India-Pakistan border following Operation Sindoor, India’s top industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani have publicly pledged their unwavering support to the Indian armed forces, who are currently engaged in repelling continuous shelling, gunfire, and drone attacks from across the border.

Mukesh Ambani, Asia’s richest man and Chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd, issued a strong statement of solidarity, saying, “We are very proud of our Indian Armed Forces for Operation Sindoor. India stands united, fierce in resolve and unshakable in purpose, against the scourge of all forms of terrorism.”

Ambani also praised the government’s decisive stance, noting, “Under the bold and decisive leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Indian Armed Forces have responded with precision and power to every provocation from across the border.”

Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, also expressed his support, sources said, adding that both industrialists are likely to contribute to government-backed welfare initiatives for soldiers and their families in the coming days.

The public endorsements from two of India’s most powerful business leaders come at a time when the country is witnessing heightened patriotic sentiment and a call for national unity amid cross-border hostilities. Operation Sindoor, launched in retaliation for the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians, has seen sustained military engagement with Pakistani positions.

While details of any financial or logistical contributions from Ambani and Adani have not been officially disclosed, both groups have historically supported national causes and disaster relief efforts, and are expected to back the armed forces through corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
