Airtel boosts network capacity for India AI Impact Summit
Bharti Airtel has ramped up its network infrastructure in the national capital to manage the anticipated surge in data traffic during the upcoming India AI Impact Summit 2026, the company said on Sunday.
The telecom operator said the summit, beginning February 16, is expected to draw over 2.5 lakh visitors, including global business leaders, policymakers, technology experts and international delegates.
According to the company, the India AI Impact Expo 2026 will serve as a key platform to showcase India’s advancements in artificial intelligence and outline its future roadmap in the sector. With such a large gathering, Airtel has enhanced its mobile network capacity to ensure uninterrupted voice and high-speed data services across key venues and surrounding areas in New Delhi.
“Airtel has strengthened its network infrastructure to deliver seamless, high-speed connectivity for the summit,” the company said in a statement, highlighting its preparedness to handle increased traffic load during the multi-day event.
The company has deployed additional mobile sites, optimized existing network resources, and enhanced backhaul capacity to support the expected spike in usage. Special technical teams have also been stationed to monitor network performance in real time and address any issues promptly.
The summit is seen as a significant opportunity for India to position itself as a global AI hub, and telecom readiness is considered crucial for smooth digital interactions, live demonstrations and high-level engagements throughout the event.
